Funkin' Up da Roux
Jolene rings in the Spring with a collection including many local favorites. Six of the 18 tracks on this album were previously released on Jolene's "Laugh Aid" cd for the Katrina relief effort. However, since the Katrina cd is no longer available, there were many of you who missed out. Therefore, we included some of the more popular tracks (such as the FEMA Ladies Ensemble) on the new cd. "Funkin' Up da Roux" features a special appearance by Jolene's 80 year-old aunt from Metairie, Louisiana who shares with us her recipe for Cajun Gumbo.
